Ann Pamintuan, a distinguished furniture designer from Davao City, has garnered international acclaim for her unique and artistic creations. Her exceptional artistry has been recognized through various accolades.
Woman,” a piece that’s made with Abaca & various precious metals, received the Katha Award for Best Product Design at Manila F.A.M.E. in April 1996.

The Cocoon collection achieved international recognition with the Good Design Award (G-Mark of Excellence) from Japan’s Industrial Design Promotion Organization in March 2003 and the ASEAN Design Selection.

It also won Best Product Design at Manila F.A.M.E. in October 2000, the Grand Prix in Metal Design at Autumn FORMEX Priset in Stockholm, Sweden, in September 2000, Best Product at FIDEXPO in Moscow, Russia, in April 2002, and Best Craftsmanship under Movement 8 at ICFF New York in May 2001.

Another acclaimed piece, “Threesome,” was honored as Best Product Design – Furniture at the Philippine International Furniture Show in 2004 and received the Good Design Award (G-Mark of Excellence) from Japan’s JIDPO the same year. These accolades highlight Pamintuan’s lasting impact and remarkable contributions to the global design scene, as she continues to inspire and make a difference in the industry today.
